The Lewis County High School Football Panthers finished their regular season with a mighty victory over Waverly Central Thursday, October 31, on Bobby W. Sharp Field 41-0.
The Panthers got on the board at 7:48 in the first with Aiden Wise catching a 5 yard pass from Brycen McDonald for a TD. Drew Ray ran in the two point conversion. LC 8-Waverly 0.
In second quarter action, Bentley Kelsey took a 48 yard pass from McDonald into the endzone for the Panther’s second score. The extra point try failed. Panthers 14-Tigers 0 at 10:18.
Kelsey added to the total at 1:25 on a 4 yard catch again from McDonald. McDonald then connected with Wise on a conversion pass to bring the Panther lead to 22-0.
In the third period, Drew Ray hauled in a 50 yard pass from McDonald at 8:20 and raced for a touchdown. Henry Sharp kicked in the point after.

Ray added another TD at 4:53 in the third on a 9 yard pass from McDonald. The extra point try was no good. Panthers LC 35- Tigers 0.
The home team finished the scoring at 11:31 in the fourth period on a 14 yard pass for touchdown of McDonald to Wise Final Lewis County 41-Wavery 0.
Rushing totals were again led by Drew Ray with 128 yards on 11 carries. Brycen McDonald ran 19 yards on 3 carries. Braylon Bean added 11 on 3 tries, Bently Kelsey was -4 on 2 tries The Panthers had a total rush attack of 145 yards on 21 carries with 19.03 average.
Passing totals saw Brycen McDonald completed 13 of 19 attempts for 248 yards and six TDs.
Receiving totals were led by Bentley Kelsey with 113 yards on 7 catches and 2 TDs. Drew Ray had 59 on 2 receptions and 2 TDs, Kade Carroll caught 1 for 29, Kobe Feichtinger had one for 28, Aiden Wise had 2 for 19 and 2 TDs.
Total receiving was 248 yards on 13 receptions.
Lewis County had 39 total plays and 251 total yards.
Henry Sharp kicked 7 kick-offs for 247 yards and a 35.29 average.
Nathanial Caamal had one kick return for 12 yards.
Waverly had 51 total plays for 163 yards and 3.20 average.

The Panthers will travel to Milan Friday, November 11 for he first round of playoff action agaionst the Bulldogs. Game time is 7 p.m.
