Serving Hohenwald, Lewis County Tennessee Since 1898
We have gotten lots of rain lately and it was much needed as we have had a long dry spell. The trees have been really pretty this fall and don’t think they could be any prettier even in the mountains where lots of people go this time of year to enjoy their beauty and get away for a long weekend or some time to rest and relax.
Those I know which are sick either at home, in nursing facilities or in the hospitals are: Kasey Baker, Colene Beasley, Linda Butler, Elizabeth Boggs, Nina Cottrel, Gertie Carroll, Pam James Carroll, Spencer Clark, Nita Cottrel, Robert and Pat Dickson, Polly Edwards, Paul Gandy, Wayne Holloway, Steve Holloway, Leon Hunter, Monette King, Lillie Mitchell, Doug Miller, Howard Miller, Judy O’Guin, Roger Pace, Debbie Pierce, Bonnie Runions, Harry Runions, Marsha Runions, Vera Runions, Addie Steel, Terry Stutts, Randy Willis, and Annette Williams. Prayers for these and others we may not know of but especially pray for those with cancer.
We wish a happy birthday to Tanner Carroll the 14th, Shelia Plunkett and Brenda Crowell the 18th, Colyn Holt McKnight the 19th, Brad Brown and Leon Reeves the 20th, and Karley Webb, Weston King, Simon Carroll, Kara Beth Carroll the 23rd. Wishing for all these and anyone I missed a very happy birthday and many more to celebrate.
Happy anniversary to Tommy and Jennifer Tiller November 20th, we wish for this couple many more happy years to celebrate life together.
Several from this area traveled to the Fish Campus in Columbia for a meal and fellowship on Thursday afternoon. We all had a great time and enjoyed to food and fellowship even the rain didn’t seem to dampen the spirits of those who went along for the trip.
Hope everyone remembered to say a special thanks for all the veterans for all they have done for our nation.
Prayers for all those families who lost loved ones this past week. These are the ones I know about
Samuel “Sammy” Sherrill, Daniel “Denny” Kuehn Jr., Jason Keith Pulley, Edith Lyell, Orval Neal Gilbert, James Franklin Templeton, Marjorie Sue Claude, Tommy Haskins, and Martin Lee Huton. Prayers for these families and any others about which I may not know.
As you go about your daily life, be sure to remember those who are less fortunate and not able to be out for some reason, a call or card would also be nice to let them know they are being thought about. Prayers for you and your family that you might have a great week and be blessed with happiness and health.
Thanks
Dorothy
