Serving Hohenwald, Lewis County Tennessee Since 1898

Jo Knows

“Hey, Jo, I have a ton of things that no longer serve me or my home. For personal reasons, I don’t want to take it all to Goodwill. Is there a place, locally, that can use my things?”

We have the Lewis County Food and Clothing Bank, it is a great option for donating items. They accept clothing and other goods to support local families in need. You can drop off items at 131 Hankins Drive, during the hours: Monday, Wednesday, Thursday, Friday, and Saturday from 10:00 AM to 3:00 PM (closed Tuesday and Sunday).

Another option is giving to the AMVETS Drop Box set up at 100 N. Court St. and 539 E. Main St. Hohenwald, TN.

Donations are sold to thrift stores and money received from the sale of the goods is used to fund Veteran resources.

Hope Center Ministries, Buffalo Valley, Inc are some other options of places that may use your treasures.

Also, consider setting up a booth at a local retail store!

Until next time...Stay curious and keep smiling! - Jo
