Amish Donate Time and Labor to North CArolina

Officials in Boone, North Carolina confirmed that 62 members of the Pennsylvania Amish community have completed the construction of 12 tiny homes in Western North Carolina in under 48 hours. The project's total cost was well over $300,000. The Amish donated all of it.

Senator Cris Dush said, "I wouldn't be surprised if some were my constituents. The floods hit my district about three weeks before Boone, and it's been our citizens rising to help more than state and federal agencies. I love the folks from Appalachia."
