Hensley- sponsored legislation aims to protect children from explicit content

January 1, 2025 was the first date that certain laws passed by the General Assembly in the last legislative session will go into effect. Senator Joey Hensley (R-Hohenwald) fought to protect children last legislative session.

“The Protect Tennessee Minors Act provides another layer of protection to children,” said Hensley. “Requiring this sort of verification is key and I am thrilled that the General Assembly passed this bill last legislative session. ”
