Our first snow of the season and maybe the last, it was beautiful and was one that snowmen and other things could be built. Saw some pictures on Facebook that showed dogs, and they were really cute. Thanks to the highway road crews the roads were passable on Friday and the weekend. We made it to church both Sunday morning and evening and the only problem was the driveways, but four-wheel drive helped there. Many were able to be out and enjoy the snow and although it was too wet to sled much many enjoyed being out and about. I enjoy staying in the house during weather like this.

Prayers for all those families who lost loved ones this past week, these are the ones I know about: Leo Kilburn, William Hicks, Eufracia R Nunez, Melanie Sue Butler Gill, Karita Diana Goodson, Patricia Brianne Ragsdale, Brenda Ann Bates, Ruby Puckett Church, Earl Kenneth “Hoss” Reed, Kenneth Wade Chandler, James Arthur Sizer, and Danny Grover Taylor. Prayers for these families and any others about which I may not know.
The children along with many adult children enjoyed playing and building snow men and making snow angels and other things during the four or five inches of snow we had this past Friday morning, and it snowed off and on most of the day. It was a beautiful snow, and the world looked like a winter wonderland as the snow held to the trees and tops of vehicles.
Be sure to be safe if you are out because there is still some snow laying around and where it has melted and refroze it is really dangerous. Stay safe and warm, if you don’t have to be out then stay home and enjoy the remainder of the snow.
