Suspect Arrested for Homicide at Gas Station on Highway 51

North Shelby County- Saturday, January 11, 2025, at approximately 10:00 p.m., Shelby County Sheriffs Office deputies responded to a shooting outside of a gas station at the 5300 block of U.S. Highway 51, just south of Fite Road in north Shelby County. An adult male was transported by Shelby County Fire in critical condition to Regional One Health, where he was later pronounced deceased. The shooter left the scene by vehicle. SCSO detectives subsequently launched a homicide investigation.
