On Tuesday, March 18, 2025, the Lewis County High School Lady Panthers softball team advanced to a 6-0 regular season record after an 11-1 victory over the Santa Fe Lady Wildcats. On offense, the Lady Panthers were led by Sophie Stutts, who had a double and a single in the game. Kinlee Keltner and Taya Tiller had two singles each. Makaela Dodson had a big double for Lewis County, while Clara Tanner, Brailey Carroll, McCully Ruddle and Kabry Adkins all contributed with a single each. On defense, Senior Addie Morgan led things off in the circle, and earned the win for Lewis County. She only gave up three hits and one run over four innings, while striking out one batter. Jaelin Baugh pitched one inning in relief for the Lady Panthers, and closed out the game by not allowing any runs and striking out two batters. The Lady Panthers will travel to Fort Walton Beach, Florida during their Spring Break next week to play in the "Florida Softball Beach Bash", which begins on March 30 and ends on April 3, 2025.
